thanks for your quick reply!
Unfortunately the latest Lp is 3.9.1 available for Linux. Do you know any later version for Linux? Cause the guide is referrred to the 3.10-version.
 
Also I couldn't find any linphonerc-file. I think that it might have the same cause herre (refers to 3.10 as well).

It is possible to export and import your contacts, just follow this guide:
 
As for your configuration, you can save the .linphonerc file in your home directory and then copy it
back on your new installation home folder.

What about e.g. the whole Lp-folder, wouldn't there be everything you need (like the Firefox profile-folder)?
E.g. when Linux is reinstalled, it would be enough to install Lp and after that replacing its folder with the backuped one for restoring the full Lp contacts and config again?
