Nop, without debug traces, it's not possible to conclude.
I recommend you to first make debug traces to work.

This is the same code that debug mode executes in linphone, is it not?

Interesting. However, it looks like you have not enabled debug mode from Linphone settings .
You can enable debug mode From Settings->Advanced->debug
