I am testing the following scenarios:
- the Windows client (as it can be downloaded from the Linphone site right now)
calling a Java app integrating over JNI with the latest linphone.lib GIT version
- same as above but with the Java app initiating the call
- Windows stable client calling the Linux 3.3.2 version from the Ubuntu repo
- same as above but Linux client initiates the call

In all of the above scenarios, I am registering with sip.linphone.org.
In none of these scenario's I can sustain a call longer than 40s .

Also when calling directly (no SIP registration) from Java app -> Windows
client or reverse I get a dropped call after +- 30s .

I don't understand this? These seem like basic test scenarios?
If this does not work, does this mean both the stable released versions up
until the latest snapshot are all broken?
Am I doing something special to trigger this?

What are the requirements to make this work?
Do I need to patch my own build with Ivan's fix?

Best regards,

Dieter

Hi Dieter,

I'm the one who suggest the solution to this problem. The patch is working
perfectly in our implementation but we don't have news about the application of
the solution on the linphone branch.

Hope it helps...

Hi,

I am currently having an issue using Linphone to place calls.
After +- 30s the call is dropped with the following message:

ortp-error-eXosip: no ACK received during 20s: dropping call

When googling for this error, I ended up at a conversation of 2 Oct 2012
on the linphone-developers mailing list where a fix is proposed.

I wonder what the current status is of this fix? In what version is this
fix present?

I am integrating with liblinphone.so version 3.5.99 on one end, and the
Android Linphone app on the other end.
Both clients register with sip.linphone.org<http://sip.linphone.org> .

It's a bit worrysome that I can't maintain a stable call using an
all-Linphone solution.
How would you rate the current status of the Linphone project?
Is Linphone mature enough to integrate into a business solution?

Thank you for your feedback.

Best regards,

Dieter Van de Walle
