[Linphone-developers] Aspect Ratio on iOS and Android

We're trying to figure out where the aspect ratio is being distorted for the mobile platforms. Reproduction sequence is simple.

1) Make a call from landscape orientation. Notice aspect ratio is correct.
2) Rotate to portrait. Notice that aspect ratio is incorrect.

If you start a call in portrait mode, aspect ratio is also correct. If you then follow the reproduction sequence above, you get the same problem.

So there is something different when starting a call in portrait vs rotating to portrait. We're starting to suspect that it might be sending incorrect data to the remote end after the orientation change.

Any suggestions on where that resolution information gets transmitted to the remote end? Or other pointers for tracking this down?

Thanks!
Don
