Hi Marco,

Yes indeed there seems to be problem when reading from the sound device.
Can you enable linphone debug mode, and collect a log with "adb logcat" or aLogcat application, and post it here ?

Regards,

Simon

hi,

when using Linphone for Android, version 1.1.6 on my Samsung Galaxy Tab GT-P1000 (Froyo 2.2), the microphone (both the internal one and the one integrated in the headset) does not work at all, that is, the other party does not hear me; I have checked that the tablet microphone works, i.e. making a GSM call. On the tablet, during the SIP communication, I can hear the other party.

On a pc where I have installed Linphone for windows, I have captured all the RTP packets, which show that there is bidirectional rtp traffic, as expected (using G711 PCMU payload) but the payload data of the RTP packets transmitted by the tablet contains all 0xFD bytes, so I think there is a problem with the Linphone app not working correctly with the tablet microphone. I have also tried to mute/unmute the microphone through the Linphone application, but the microphone still does not work.

Do you have any suggestion?

thank you and best regards,
Marco
