Subject: | [Linphone-developers] receiver answer detection |

Hi, There,
I want to see if we can get this use case to work. when I use
linphonec to call the receiver, the receiver may or may not pick up the phone.
Currently, linphonec command tool only shows media established when the call
goes through. At that time, the receiver may
or may not have actually picked up the phone. What I would like to do is
that I will immediately play a sound file if he pick up the phone. If he never
pick up the phone, I will keep on ringing until give up. The purpose of
this function is that I want to be able to
deliver a message to the receiver and make sure I indeed delivered it by
detecting the receiver have picked up the phone. For a human being as a caller,
this is easy. However, if I want to script this using a computer as caller, I
would like to know if there is a good solution.
Do we know if this can be done ? If it can, what do I need to change
to make this possible ?
