Forget about Fedora official release packages and download and compile everything by yourself. It is not that difficult.

2011/2/10 Jeff Krebs <address@hidden>
Under Fedora 14 - the most current release - no.

Not even Fedora Rawhide (the development branch) has migrated to 3.5.0.  It's still at 3.1.0.

Is the build error due to my system having 3.5.0 installed, or is it something else?

I can certainly "roll my own" RPM packages based on libosip 3.5.0, and I may very well do that. If version 3.5.0 or greater is a requirement, then Fedora users will be squeezed out of using Linphone 3.4.0 for the forseeable future.
