dyn = { s8 \> 8 8 8 \!}
{ << \rh \new Dynamics \dyn >> }

dyn = { s8 \> 8*3 \!}
{ << \rh \new Dynamics \dyn >> }

These are the resulting scores:

I expected that dynamics would be the same. Why they are not?
