Dear LilyPond developpers,

I currently play from typical sheet music for songs not produced with
LilyPond and it looks so bad that it’s really not fun to read. (I don’t
know how these scores are produced, it involves JavaScript.)

The issues concern almost everything: horizontal spacing, slurs shapes
(broken slurs in particular), beam slopes (w.r.t staff lines), padding
of rehearsal marks and bar numbers, the ugliest volta brackets I’ve ever
seen, tiny font sizes, proportions of barlines, etc.

Having looked at Lilypond scores for many years now, it is really hard
to play from that. I know that many of you know that, but it became so
obvious here.

Thanks a lot for all your work on LilyPond!

Joram
