It was introduced at some point in the 2.19 cycle.

Oh, yes. I see my error now.

In my haste, I typed in the version + code into Frescobaldi but completely forgot to actually look at the log (showing clearly it was using 2.19+) - sorry!

I thought it was compiling using 2.18 on this system....so I was fooled by the correct output in the score window :)
