Hello folks, I’m trying to obtain a second score identical to the first one in the example below, without using \lyricsto and with syllables having their duration attached to them, but no way. How can that be done? And a side question: replacing d2 by r2 in variable ‘melody' makes only the first syllable, ‘do’, to be kept, see second attached image. I bumped on such a rest with <lyric /> attached in a MusicXML file I translated with musicxml2ly. Maybe the best bet would be to ignore syllables on rests? Thanks for your help!
