| Just the markup would work fine, I don't need correct Midi playback!
Attached is a mockup. I've seen this notation in a couple of old tune books of Swedish traditional music, and I thought it was a common thing, until I started googling for it - seems to be quite rare actually... But it is a very useful thing, as it effectively introduces nested repeats in a very readable way!

Erik, Do you want it to reproduce that in Midi, or just create the appropriate markup? Could you create a mockup of what you want and post it (I'm sure it's possible if not quite easy to create the output). It's not a style of repeats I've ever seen.

Hi List,
Does Lilypond have a built-in way of making "bis" repeats? I.e. a horizontal bracket over one or a few measures with the word "bis", indicating that the section is to be played twice.
