Hi Markus,

there is a difference between slurs and ties. A tie means concat two notes (they have to be of the same pitch). A slur says, move from one note to another and keep them tight. Hm, this is not really accurate ;)
And yes, that means, the recommendation of the repeatTie is a misuse ...
but it works.

notes in the latter case and only one in the former...
