Location is determined by one of three signs: "^" for above, "-" for at
side," and "_" for below. So for your example: < h f' >_.

The actual problem here is that the user has created some implicit voices
<< \rightone \\ \righttwo >>
rightone is implicitly voiceOne, which has all articulations above the note,
and righttwo is voiceTwo, with articulations below the note. He has then
ignored the obvious error message telling him righttwo does not exist.
error: unknown escaped string: `\righttwo'
} << \rightone \\
\righttwo >>
Delete \\ righttwo and all is well.
