One problem I'm having is that it's not easy to find things in the documentation. As with all language systems,. you spend an awful lot of time searching.....

Some search tips:

1. use the index of each manual and search the best keywords that come to your mind.

Be aware that commands are indexed with the \ sign, so you find them just at the beginning of the index.

2. use a search engine which search the version you are using, for example:

keyword site:ilypond.org/doc/v2.17/Documentation/

3. if you have downloaded the documentation, you can read the big html version and use your browser search
