I forgot to mention I have always installed Frescobaldi from git
source (currently 2.0.9) by myself because I had to test my
translations. Version in repos used to be old KDE-only or pre-v2.0
releases. Now Ubuntu 12.10 has 2.0.5, neat!
Yes, it is an one-click program nowadays, finally. Thanks!
