Hi James,

Note that the Lilypond diagrams are different, not such "squarisch", see the notation reference manual for details.

From the list for all bassoon keys, I just produced a diagram usiong the Lilypond diagram showing each and every of the keys, see PDF attached. Hopefully you can find the keys you need. Just combine these in one call, this is shown in the second attachment (the ready to run .ly file). I took some keys at random (first two of each group listed, don't know the bassoon that much to be sure that makes any sense). Keep the keynames in the correct group seperate these with spaces and be carfull with the matching of the parentices.

Regards,
Wim.

I will need to include some bassoon fingering charts in an upcoming project. My bassoonist friend (who will also perform) scanned some pages from a reference book that uses a fairly rectangular style (attached).

In Lilypond, I've gotten as far as printing out the list of keys and understanding the basic syntax. But I have no idea which of the squiggles in LP corresponds to which square or circle in the book.

My friend is on holiday. He can probably figure it out after returning, but I thought I'd ask here in case someone can give some pointers. Thanks!
