You probably want a "top-level markup":

\markup { "Drag Paradiddle No. 1" }
\score { ... }

You can then format the markup and the spacing between it and the music (above 
and below), to get exactly what you want.

You could use a \tempo markup as well with appropriate \[style] font variables.

Or the \header { piece = XXXXX } markup
