For /some/ things, it's nice to have serif-ed chord names; an easy way
is to put
\override ChordName #'font-size = #0
\override ChordName #'font-family = #'roman
in \layout \context ChordNames, which gives the attached.
Or you could try
\override ChordName #'font-name = #'"Exact Font Name"
to use any font on your system.
