Please be careful using the word "simple". I'm a Lilypond user that is using 
only scheme code directly if it is provided by clear examples from the manuals 
and snippets, or if one of the kind and helpful power-users and developers in 
this mailing list has some tips and tricks that I can use. Most of the time I 
hardly understand HOW it works, but as long as it works I'm happy. But "simple" 
is not what I would call it.
