Are you on windows or on Linux?

Basically, you'll have to checkout the dev/jneeman branch from git, and then 
compile all of lilypond yourself. 
I don't know how long it will take until a version is released that containing 
Joe's development, but if it's not urgent, I would advise you to wait for 
such a version.

If you are adventurous (and have enough time at your hands), you can 
follow the instructions:
