Okay, that works, as well. One take about the "standalone" box though: It 
generates excessively large images with lots of empty space, because of the 
tagline. Would it be possible to remove the default tagline in the LSR for 
standalone snippets?

Since I suppose that there are no lines added at the top of standalone snippts 
before processing them, I guess this would mean patching the 
ly/titling-init.ly file in lilypond installation on LSR... Or we could simply 
prepend \header { tagline =""} to all standalone snippets and the full 
preamble to all other snippets...

IIRC, I stumbled upon some other snippets, too, which contained multiple 
scores, where only the first was shown (but there the others were mainly not 
addressed in the description). If I happen to come across one of those, I'll 
let you know.
