have a piece of music in which a substantial part of the right hand
is in 5/4 and the left in 4/4, which I would like to set using
Lilypond. Unfortunately the software doesn't seem to accept differing
time signatures in the right and left hand while keeping the bars
aligned, so I have resorted to using the same basic time signature for
both hands, and then collecting the left or right under tuplets of the
appropriate length. This leads to a fairly unreadable sheet of music!
Is there a way to suppress the printing of the tuple indicators
altogether, say after the first two bars? As may be obvious, I'm a
neophyte at using the software....
