Is it just the music examples that are offset or the full document?
In the latter case, it must be a general problem with your TeX installation, nothing specific for LilyPond.
Try for example the commands

latex sample2e
dvips sample2e

which should produce sample2e.dvi and sample2.ps with a 3 page document.

The easiest way to get A3 layout is to use the "geometry" package in
LaTeX. Run the command
textdoc geometry
to see the documentation.

Hi,

When I use lilypond book, the output (A4) is "offseted" with some 8 cm to
the right side of the page.
I suppose the problem is well known. But what is the solution ;-)

I would also be pleased to know how to use A3 paper in lilypond-book without
having to install the Koma-Script

Thanks in advance

François

PS Using Suse 9.2 ; pico or gedit ; lilypond 2.2.6

PS ! ! ! I read actually in digest-modus ! ! !
