dvi problem with jedit 4.2final

Hello!
I have the following problem with the "view output (dvi)" feature of the
lilytool plugin, using jedit 4.2 final: I can see only the staff lines and
the beams, but I can't see anything else: noteheads, clefs, titles etc.
I know that this problem was already discussed here, and the solution was
to specify the font path in the jdviProp file (message of the 6th of june),
but I can't find this file, not in my home (.jedit), neither in the jedit
package.
Can you help me?
