Is there any way to get Staff.midiInstrument to work?
\context Staff = tone {
\set Staff.instrument = #"vocal"
\set Staff.midiInstrument = #"voice oohs"
\melody

Lilypond 1.32 doesn't complain, but neither does it deliver. I've
tried a lot of things. \property is long gone, apparently.
Question 2:
Why does lilypond do small clefs in the middle of a line by default
instead of regular? Aren't small clefs supposed to be for changing clef
without having to change the key signature, so the whole idea is *not*
to have a new key sig appear? Isn't that what they're for? If you
change keys in midstream, so to speak, don't you need a regular clef?
So wouldn't \smallclef make more sense when you want no new key sig to
appear, and \key when you want both clef and key sig? daveA

Paying more at the gas pump? Bush's Oil Sheikh Buddies, who support Al
Qaeda, Palestinian terrorists, & hate-U.S. school systems everywhere,
need more of your money now to arm and pay Iraqis to kill Americans.
