After the end of holydays I tried building 1.6.1 at the university. -
Running a heavily modified RH7.1 - afair.
I get

ERROR: Please install autoconf 2.13
address@hidden:~/lilypond/lilypond]$ autoconf --version
autoconf (GNU Autoconf) 2.53
...
Why does lilypond require i lower version number of autoconf?
