Pour moi which me renvoie bien l'emplacement du programme :
/home/gil.../bin/lilypond.
Mais whereis ne me renvoie rien, je n'ai jamais rencontré cette absence de
réponse.

Je viens de trouver en faisant une recherche d'applications une qui
ressemble à ce que tu décris et qui s'appelle Catfish. En effet, la
recherche est extrêmement rapide. J'en prends bien note.
