How to propose patches for stable branch?

Hi list,

I fixed issue 4807 
(https://sourceforge.net/p/testlilyissues/issues/4807/) which was a 
regression. It’s now in master branch and tagged Fixed_2_21_0. How will 
this become part of the stable branch? Will someone (David?) just scan 
the master branch for changes that are cherry-picked to stable/2.20 or 
should I add some other tag/comment/…?
