It looks like it's a list of requirements for just taking the LilyPond 
executable and allowing it to run, as opposed to installing it from the 
downloadable versions.  It shouldn't confuse users, since it's in the CG. 
Unless anyone knows better, it might be a good idea to clarify this - 
although I'm not quite clear why anyone would want to run the executable 
unless they've compiled it themselves?
