for what it's worth, i've been able to push a private branch to
dev/janek/issue-3186 moments ago.
Maybe it was a temporary error? I think that trying to push again in
a few minutes should be a safe thing to do.
You may also check your repository with 'git fsck' (note that
"dangling commit/blob" messages don't usually mean anything bad).
