Hi,
I agree with David that volunteering work is important and we should
ask for volunteers as much (or more) as for money. However, we have
lilypond.org/help-us.html for this.
I definitely agree that it's the interested devs who should maintain
their respective blurbs. What i was suggesting was to change the
general text and layout of the page.
As for bounties, i agree with David that "cheap" issues are usually
fixed swiftly without a bounty, and that collecting bounties is a
problem. However, i think we should list the possibility of hiring a
dev to do something specific.
Notice that hiring devs to do precisely specified contracts is
different from bounties (which tend to be vague).
So, i still believe we should change the general text of the sponsoring page.
