Yes.  We had a long discussion leading to the current phrasing of
the "general text" on the sponsoring page.  I am skeptical about
any need to change it.

That said, I heartily endorse David updating his blurb, and also
encourage anybody else interested in bounties to add their names
to the page.


The stats come from scripts in lilypond-extra:stats/makestats.sh
but only Phil can update them.  It would be nice if they were
updated for every release.  This requires a patch to GUB or adding
well-formed copy&paste command lines to the CG release checklist.
