suggestion - increase default beam thickness

I think the default beam thickness is a bit too small.

Current default is 0.48 staffspace. I've conduted a little research,
and the average beam thickness, calculated from 11 samples (some taken
from our essay) is 0.56 ss. No beams were as thin as our beams.

Making beams thicker would improve some beam slopes a bit, too.
Currently beam slope in seconds is 0.19 ss (0.5 beamthickness minus
0.5 linethickness) and it's a bit too flat (see attachment).

Finally, some beamed stems are shortened too aggresively. For example in
{ f'8[ a'] a'4 }
the stem of beamed 'a' note looks too short compared to quarter 'a'
note; increasing beam thickness would improve this by a tiny fraction
(also in attachment).

Of course we shouldn't change thickness too much. I'd say that it
should be 0.51 or 0.52 staffspace.

My research is here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/juulc4

What do you think?
