You DO see woodwind in British marching bands. If they do have woodwind,
they're a Military Band, if they don't, they're a Brass Band. If you see
any footage of eg the Trooping of the Colour - look at the military
bands, they will have woodwind. Military Bands are also known as Concert
Bands - if they call themself a Concert Band it's because they don't
march although a Military Band doesn't necessarily march either (nor do
many Brass Bands nowadays :-(
(note the careful use of caps - if it's what the band's *called* it's
caps, if it's what the band *is* it's lower.)
