`make install' is broken

Hi,
With latest git master and a clean tree, `make install' is broken for
me. Attached is the end of the log.
Looking back at the ./autogen.sh output, the Century Schoolbook PFB
fonts are no longer detected, so I suspect this is why the build is
failing.
Normally, they are found in
/usr/share/fonts/Type1
but this is what the config.log prints now
configure:4568: checking New Century Schoolbook PFB files
configure:4602: result:
Note that there are trailing spaces after `result:'. I don't know if
this is significant.
Werner, can you have a look at this?
