That's possibly what you end up with when moving an already extreme
signature (possibly from a sequence of modulations, like a rising canon)
to a transposing instrument. In particular if you refuse to employ
enharmonic equivalents.
I agree that it might be appropriate in most cases to hit the composer
with a clue bat, but then Lilypond is not about restricting the
expressive possibilities of musical notation. On the other hand, one
should probably not give such suggestive examples here. People will
easily figure out how to get such abominations if they want them. It is
rather straightforward after all.
