I tried this, got the same error message
address@hidden lilypond]# rpm --install --force
ec-fonts-mftraced-1.0.2-1.noarch.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:

I hunted around for kpathsea paths in my environment (seems they were
important in Cygwin), but I couldn't find any.
which couldn't find kpathsea.
address@hidden /]# which kpathsea

Any more thoughts?
Thanks for your patience with me and your help!
