Before 1.6 the 16th and shorter rests should be converted to the layout
of the 8th rest.
I took a quick look at the mf-code - and the code isn't exactly easily
upgradable; - many points in the bulb are defined relatively to the
top/bottom of the symbol rather than relative to each other - and hence
I was too scared to start hacking into this... But we cannot release a
stable where the rests are of different lay out.
