The first two changes are spacing changes, presumably caused by the grace notes being in the same context as surrounding notes. The third change is quite drastic but again caused by the grace notes now being in the same context as the surrounding note and consequently the last note continuing where \autochange left the context after the last grace note.
So the changes seem quite in line with expectations. Well, our spacing specialists could probably profer some more specific wisdom concerning how in-context changes might make for different spacing than separate-context changes.
