Well, this enhancement request was posted to the bug-list.

Phil and David question its usefulness, so I spent some time trying it.  I  
find it very useful, and have switched from Dutch to English with 'bn's.

I asked on the user list if anyone else would find it useful, got  
one-and-a-half "yes"es, several "I don't need it"s and three rather  
emphatic "no"s.   I struggled to understand the reasoning behind the "no"s.

The reasoning seemed to be that some people benefit from an error message  
on 'bn'

I moved the 'bn' to a language with description that makes it unlikely to  
be used without understanding that 'b' also means B-natural.

I cannot think of a better patch, but I cannot understand any reason that  
the request is invalid.
