Was me, who approved said snippet and tagged it 'doc'.
I couldn't find any error or warning while testing it, more it seemed to be  
very nice.
Although, I have to admit I was a little suspiciuos about 'left-label etc.
Maybe I should have asked before approving, though without error/warning ...

For now I suggest we remove it from the docs.
Or is there a way to make it work properly?
