I tend to make this paragraph even shorter
"This aligns the lyrics to the notes of the named Voice context which was
specified before."
this should be good enough in the documentation context where the 3 ways of
associating text to notes are presented.
then the use of the command/keyword \lyricmode for the assignment of text
to a variable could be explained here, too, but I don't think it's
necessary (it is explained in 2.1.2 Techniques specific to lyrics)
