You can directly translate the <a>:<b> ratios from the Wikipedia article into \applySwing 8 #'(<a> <b>) { ... }. As for the Laborejo Swing modifier <m>, from the information in the screenshot I would guess the corresponding calls to be \applySwing 8 #'(<1+m> 1) { ... } for positive values and \applySwing 8 #'(1 <1+|m|>) { ... } for negative values.
