http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=2658I have an idea how to make the situation even better. What about actually changing the stems from rounded rectangles to lines? As we saw, lines always rendered ok, and this shouldn't increase the filesize. The only difference would be in how the ends of stems would look like, but i believe that it will be impossible to actually see this difference.
