and identified three bugs arising from the original report. This tracker is  
for the following defect of type Ugly:

In mensural-style the stem and flag aren't well combined.

Example:

\version "2.17.9"

{
 \override Flag.style = #'mensural
 \override Stem.thickness = #1.0
 \override NoteHead.style = #'mensural
 c'8
}

I'd consider this of type ugly.
