Comment #46 on issue 2823 by address@hidden: Patch: Fixes position of mensural c clef
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=2823#c46The most recent patch set is for my very initial stab at a new mensural C clef. I've changed the approach to writing all the figure in a single function, which I find more readable. In the version posted, I'm aware of 3 significant problems: 1) not all the intersections are curved; 2) there are no ornaments on the right of the figure; 3) the bounding box is way to big. I've posted it to get initial feedback on the approach - specifically using quartercircle for rounding, and whether there are any other real no-no's in the way I'm using metafont code. I've read the book, but it doesn't give much guidance about style.
