This page http://www.gnu.org/software/libtool/ currently refer to
site "http://mail.gnu.org/"... for libtool related mail lists . It
seems to that correct site is "http://lists.gnu.org/...".
Also not all links point to final location as example
"http://lists.gnu.org/pipermail/libtool-patches/" (note
s/mail/lists/ ) it moved permanently to
href="http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/libtool-patches".
These should be fixed now. Thanks for reporting them!
Cheers,
Ralf
As example you could test missing /moved with wget
$ wget http://www.gnu.org/software/libtool/ -O libtool-index.html
$ wget --spider --force-html --verbose=off --debug=off
--base=http://www.gnu.org/software/libtool/ -i libtool-index.html
After fixes for libtool lists the result is :
https://my.fsf.org/associate/support_freedom?referrer=4052:
Remote file does not exist -- broken link!!!
May be it is
"https://my.fsf.org/associate/support_freedom/join_fsf?" or
"https://my.fsf.org/associate/support_freedom/" ?
Also with verbose and/or debug set you could find some references with
"301 Moved Permanently" response first (Note not so important). As
example for ".../XXX (".../manual" and ".../libtool-commit") server
respond moved to ".../XXX/".
