BTW, should I wait for a review to install any of these patches?
- patch adding -static-libtool-libs
- patch adding tests/static.at (depends upon former)
- patch fixing the locking issue with compiler_c_o=no
I also believe your LT_AC_PROG_SED patch (with the correction) may
actually be ok. I will do a bit more testing though (and report back).
Unfortunately, I had to add another serious regression to the TODO list.
