It would be really cool if CVS libtool could operate properly (e.g. pass a single test) on something other than a GNU or BSD-derived system. It doesn't seem to execute on "proprietary" Unix OSs with SYSV roots. This condition is very frustrating.

I know :-(

I'm working on it... I'm flushing my patch queue now that my fortran compiler is working again and I can run the test suite.

That done, I'm going to make the release branch so that we can put fixes
on that without stopping development on the trunk, and then make another
alpha release that we can use as a baseline for platform testing.
